Michael Myers Halloween Bishoujo Statue

Michael Myers is an iconic character of horror cinema. Created by director John Carpenter in 1978, Michael Myers is the main villain of the film series Halloween, a teen murderer who returns every few years to haunt his previous victims and kill more teenagers. He has been described by his creator, the actors who played him, and the fans of the movie as “pure evil”, and over the year has become a legend for fans and horror enthusiasts alike. His world-famous symbol is a white painted Captain Kirk mask. His cult following in the horror community has granted him a well-deserved spot in the Bishoujo line of evil statues.

The statue is the latest addition to the bishoujo figures, displaying the classic antagonist who terrified audiences worldwide. The blood splattered on the statue’s detailed figure nail the impression of Michael Myers, along with the pure evil expression on her face. Just like its original movie counterpart, its distinguished features include the look of a villainous killer, the classic Halloween pumpkin, and the knife still freshly used from Michael Myers’ last murders. Last but not least, by its feet is Michael’s ghostly white mask behind which he usually hides his face in the movies. The 4 x 4 x 8 inches collectible is a beautiful homage to the film series and its most famous character. The evil murderer’s statue weighs 1,5 pounds. John Carpenter would be proud of the rendering, faithful to the original while adding a touch of originality that makes the statue truly fit in the Bishoujo line.

The statue is signed Shunya Yamashita, the illustrator behind the Bishoujo line of collectibles. While based on Yamashita’s drawing, the statue was manufactured by Kotobukiya and expertly sculpted by Takahashi Masahiro “Gill Gill”.
