Kotobukiya has released the illustration by Shunya Yamashita of the upcoming Supergirl bishoujo statue. This will be the second statue based on the Girl of Steel. The first bishoujo statue based on the character was released in June 2011. There was also an evil variant of that statue produced which is in very high demand now. This new design features the same costume from the original statue, but the pose could be considered more heroic and overall less playful. The Maid of Might’s popularity has significantly increased recently as the Supergirl television series has now aired for two seasons. This bishoujo statue is scheduled for release on January 2018.
