Black Canary Bishoujo Statue

The long-awaited Black Canary bishoujo statue is on the way to join the rest of the DC Comics bishoujo statues! First appearing in 1947 in Flash Comics #87 (reprinted in Black Canary, The – Archives, Volume 1 (Archive DC Editions), Black Canary has gone through many incarnations but has endured as one of DC’s most iconic characters.

This statue shows the Black Canary after hand-to-hand combat, stretching to the sky triumphantly. She is wearing her classic black costume. Featured in a form-fitting bodysuit, the Canary also wears her famous black jacket, gloves and high-heel boots. Most noticeable, however, are the fishnet black stockings that have become synonymous with the Black Canary! Her blonde hair (a wig in the comic books), adds a brilliant contrast to the dark heroine’s look.

Designed by Shunya Yamashita and sculpted by M.I.C., the Black Canary bishoujo statue stands just under 10 inches tall (1/7 scale) on her uniquely designed display base.
