G.I. Joe Baroness The Crimson Strike Team Bishoujo Statue

Kotobukiya proudly presents an exclusive limited-edition statue of Cobra agent Baroness, joining the G.I. Joe Crimson Strike Team Bishoujo line. This special edition statue draws inspiration from the 2002 original figure from Hasbro’s relaunch of the Real American Hero line.

G.I. Joe, conceived by Hasbro, narrates the epic battles between a team of brave American military heroes and their arch-nemesis, the sinister terrorist organization known as Cobra. Baroness, first introduced as a villain in 1982 in the comic book series G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero #1, debuted as an action figure in 1984. As a ruthless femme fatale, she has been a prominent villain in the G.I. Joe action figure line, comic books, and was the first character to transition into the animated series.

Born Anastasia Cisarovna to wealthy European parents, Baroness was initially a spoiled child who later became radicalized, speaking out against America. Her journey into villainy led her to international terrorism with Cobra. Trained as a spy and saboteur, she eventually rose to become Cobra’s head of intelligence operations and a lieutenant to Cobra Commander. Despite her romantic feelings for Destro, another key Cobra member, her loyalty lies solely with herself, often manipulating Cobra Commander and Destro for her own benefit. Baroness is known for her ruthlessness, complexity, and contradictions.

Physically, Baroness is portrayed as a strikingly-beautiful and sensual character with long dark hair and glasses. Originally depicted in a black leather bodysuit, she is highly-intelligent, an expert in psychological warfare, cryptography, and biochemical attacks, and proficient with various weapons, including automatic guns. She is also skilled in operating tanks, helicopters, and other aircraft. Over the years, she has remained a fan-favorite villainess, featuring prominently in comic books, action figures, animated series, and live-action movies.

This exclusive Bishoujo statue of Baroness stands approximately 9 inches tall, featuring a dark red bodysuit with black and metallic accents, fitting the “Crimson Strike Team” theme. Her long black hair and glasses enhance her sleek, exclusive design. She holds an all-new machine gun in her right hand, and the statue’s high-quality digital sculpting highlights the attention to detail and character authenticity. This is not merely a color variant but a completely new look.

The stunning Bishoujo collectible is based on the original concept art by the talented Shunya Yamashita and brought to life by the skilled sculptor Takaboku Busujima (Busujimax). It is limited to only 1400 pieces.

This premium-grade Bishoujo PVC statue is a must-have for any G.I. Joe fan, offering top-tier craftsmanship and a striking portrayal of Baroness.
