G.I. Joe Baroness (25th Anniversary Blue Color) Bishoujo Statue
The Baroness Anniversary statue is a limited-edition statue. It comes in 1/7th scale and is high quality due to it being hand-sculpted as well as the use of ABS plastic and PVC thermoplastic. Coming in at around 9 inches high and 5 lbs in weight, it’s designed to be a really high-quality product. This version is a blue variant which is a step away from the original colors of black and red. The blue and neon green colors are great for night missions. The sub-machine gun is painted gunmetal grey. If you are a G.I Joe fan, this certainly seems like a must-have!
The Baroness made her first appearance in the first G.I Joe Marvel Comic, G.I JOE: A Real American Hero in June 1982. Her main role throughout the series has been a villainess as she is associated with G.I Joe’s nemesis, Cobra. She serves in a dual role as an intelligence officer as well as a lieutenant to The Cobra.
Her real name is Anastasia Cisarovna. Highly intelligent, she was exposed to radicalism at an early age before eventually becoming an international terrorist. She is trained as an expert spy and a saboteur. She is a world-class expert in cryptography, psychological warfare as well as developing skin irritants. She has ties to the infamous Destro and she is the only person to know his secret identity. The Baroness has had extensive plastic surgery due to a failed Cobra night attack as well as being involved in many battles, such as the Battle of Springfield and the Cobra Civil War.
Even though she is undoubtedly intelligent, she is full of contradictions. Blunt but indirect, calculating yet naïve, cynical but romantic, there is certainly a lot to unpack with The Baroness.
She is also a weapons expert. She is fully qualified in the working of an M-16, AK47, RPG, and Uzi. She can drive a tank and fly helicopters as well as fix them.
This Baroness statue is designed by Shunya Yamashita and sculpted by Takaboku Busujjma.
